Deborah attends a service for animals lost in the war

Deborah, represented the charity Brooke, Action for Working Horses and Donkeys at a Remembrance gathering at the Animals in War Memorial on Park Road, London. The service was organised by the Petplan Charitable Trust and the Dogs Trust.

Deborah gave a speech about the horses, donkeys and mules that served the British army between 1914 and 1918 and spoke about how horses were abandoned and sold into hard labour in Egypt after the war. Today, Brooke works to protect and improve the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules, which are still working around the world, supporting the lives of people living in developing countries.
