Chelsea Flower Show

Deborah attends the Chelsea Flower Show, to judge in the Chelsea Product of the Year competition. Launched in 2011 the competition serves to recognise the best new garden products.

Entries are judged on a number of criteria, including innovation, visual appeal, functionality, quality, value for money and environmental sustainability.  

This year there were 13 finalists in the RHS Chelsea Garden Product of the Year competition chosen for their cutting-edge design, functionality, value for money and environmental sustainability.

Deborah visited The Morgan Stanley Garden' designed by Chris Beardshaw.  The garden created an exciting opportuntiy for young musicians from the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britian (NYO) to work with Chris to compose an dperform a unique piece of music inspired by the garden design.

Also, the World Horse Welfare Garden designed by Adam Woolcott and Jonathan Smith to tell the story of Clippy, a pony who was rescued and nursed back to health.
