Deborah's reasons for investing
This was an interesting one for me, bearing in mind I haven't cooked a meal in 25 years! Carol was key to my investment decision, with an impressive track record in terms of both raising funds and delivering a profitable business. Whilst this might not be home ground for me, she clearly explained the market, the business model and why www.mydish.co.uk was the perfect site to take advantage of the huge surge of interest in social eating. With a number of impressive trading partners already signed up I could see that she was already off to a good start. I got the sense that Carol was a real achiever, someone I could work with to maximise the opportunity.
What’s happened since they appeared in the Den?

Other developments include a personalised recipe calendar with funds being raised for Gt Ormond St Hospital and sponsorship deals with Twinings, Pataks, Maltesers and Coca Cola. White label versions of MyDish have also been created for two national newspapers groups, The Telegraph and the Mailonline, as well as for a national grocery retailer.
